Components

Components are the building block of electrical and electronic circuit that we used in our everyday life. In electrical and electronics, Components are those entity that is used to build a circuit through which currents can flow.

Types  of Components

Mainly there are two types of components such as 

1. Active components and 

2. Passive components

Active and Passive Components

Active Components

Active components are those components that are capable of generating energy or modifying electrical energy. Example of active components are diode, transistor etc.

Passive Components

Passive components are those components that are not capable of generating energy or modifying electrical energy. Example of passive components are resistor, capacitors, instructor  etc.
